How to Find Your Q-SYS Locking ID

Your Q-SYS Locking ID is a unique identifier assigned to your Q-SYS Core. Kyara Systems uses this identifier to generate a license that is permanently linked to your Core.

Important: The license generated for one Q-SYS Core cannot be used on another Core. Please verify that you are copying the Locking ID from the Core where the plugin will be deployed.

Step 1 — Open Q-SYS Core Manager

Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your Q-SYS Core.

Example: 

http://192.168.1.100

Log in using an account with administrator privileges.

Step 2 — Open the Licensing Page

After logging in, navigate to: 

Core Management → Licensing

The Licensing page displays information about your Q-SYS Core, including the unique Locking ID required for license generation.

Step 3 — Copy the Locking ID

Locate the field labeled Locking ID.

Click the Copy button to copy the Locking ID.

Do not modify the Locking ID or omit any characters. An incorrect Locking ID will result in a license that cannot be activated.

Step 4 — Complete Your Purchase

Return to the Kyara Systems product page and paste the Locking ID into the Q-SYS Locking ID field before adding the product to your cart.

After your purchase is completed, your license will be generated specifically for your Q-SYS Core using the Locking ID you provided.

Before You Purchase

  • Verify that the Locking ID belongs to the correct Q-SYS Core.
  • Copy the entire Locking ID exactly as displayed.
  • One license is required for each Q-SYS Core.
  • Licenses cannot be transferred between different Q-SYS Cores.
